The January 2019 My Monthly Hero kit from Hero Arts may be my favorite kit yet! I love every component included in this kit. Thankfully my kit arrived in time to create an anniversary card for my parents. :) When you open the card there's still a beautiful scene showing inside. All supplies were personally purchased, and all opinions expressed are my own. Supplies:
I started with a top folding note card made from watercolor paper. I stamped the storefront scene with Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink using my Tim Holtz travel stamp platform. Then I die cut the window, creating an opening to the inside of the card. Again, I used my stamp platform to align the flowers on the inside of the card, ensuring that they show through the window opening when the card is closed. I stamped and die cut all the extra images, then I used distress inks to watercolor them. For the watering can, bicycle, and the awning posts I used distress oxide Pumice Stone. I love how colorful and vibrant the flowers turned out! Have a wonderful day!
